The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Primark SS13

It's that time of year again, folks: Primark have started to release their SS13 pieces and can I just be the first to say, well done Primark. I'm absolutely loving the classic designs they've gone for, nobody does high-street boucle quite like Zara but they've certainly given it a good shot. I love the subtle pastel colours and simple design of the jackets.

My favourite piece of the collection has to be the lovely blue and white china-inspired dress. It's so simple yet elegant and has a great cut. The attention to detail is beautiful as well; the blue trimming around the sleeves just completes the dress perfectly. I can't wait to buy this beauty.

As to be expected with Primark, there are a few tacky pieces in the new collection. I never want to meet the person who suggested Leopard print hot pants as a good idea. I love a good satchel but one in neon pink with studs? Not so much and I don't even know where to start on the bracelet so I won't bother.

Items I'm adding to the already substantial list of trends I'll never understand are 1. Creepers and 2. Wedged trainers.

What do you think of Primark's S/S13 collection? Got your eye on anything?
