...EVER! Okay, maybe not ever but at least until I'm making some sort of stable income.

This has come about as a result of me having too many clothes and no longer having enough money to fund my clothes buying addiction. This is the current state of my attic AKA my second wardrobe:

And this is just the start of it. There's another one of those racks filled to the brim...
So, for the next few months I won't be buying clothes apart from bargains that I find in charity shops or trading. I'll also be trying to sell all that stuff at boot sales and on Ebay, so I'll let you know how that goes.

A few years ago, before I started university and experienced the many joys of a student loan, I joined the website Big WardrobeIt's a website where people from all over the world upload the clothes that they no longer wear and if you see something you like, you can ask them to swap!

Basically, it's a great way of getting new clothes for free if you're strapped for cash. I used to use it a lot and made some brilliant swaps but stopped when I started university. I've now come crawling back, like a more fashionable, female version of the prodigal son. So, if anyone fancies joining me over on Big Wardrobe here's some of the stuff I'll be trading:

And here's a few other bits I'll also be trading or selling:

I was looking to trade that last dress but I'm thinking I might keep it and use it as wall decor instead. LOOK HOW PRETTY:

That's better than any stinking picture.
If you fancy joining me on Big Wardrobe, my username is Zafrina (don't ask). This stuff is mainly either size 12 or 14 but there are a couple of 10s in there too.

Hopefully this will work and stop my overwhelming desire to buy new clothes for a while.

Hope to see you on Big Wardrobe! I'll inform you if I get any great swaps!

Much love,

  1. That last dress IS sooo pretty. I'd be torn to part with it too!

  2. Great idea to hang it on the wall. I definitely have a lot of stuff I want to get rid of too. Great find with big wardrobe!
